Marie M. (Zeller) Langel, 79, died Monday, July 31, 1995, at Faith Countryside Homes in Highland. She was born July 17, 1916, the daughter of Francis Sr. and Ella (Honschen) Zeller. She married Clyde Langel on Sept. 29, 1935; he preceded her in death on December 27, 1975. Surviving are two daughters, Doris (Willas) Massey of Sorento and Glenda (Joe) Trame of St. Rose; two brothers, Walter "Bud" (Mildred) Zeller and Ed (Susan) Zeller, both of New Douglas; two sisters, Irene (Irvin) Leitschuh of New Douglas and Dorothy (Melvin) Miller of Highland; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Marie was preceded in death by a son, David Langel, and two brothers, Clarence Zeller and Francis Zeller Jr. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Aug. 2, at 10 a.m. at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland with the Rev. Susan Sickelka officiating. Interment was at Highland City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Evangelical United Church of Christ or Faith Countryside Homes, and will be received at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home.
