Dr. Clyde R. Yarber, Sr., 67, life expired on Saturday June 04, 1973 at the North Alabama Hospital in Russellville, Ala., He was born Jan. 04, 1911 in Tishomingo, Co., Mississippi, and a former residence of Belmont. He was a member of the Church of Christ and a mason.
Services were Monday, June 06, at the Deaton Funeral Home in Belmont, with burial in the Belmont City cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Betty Ruth Yarber of Russellville, two daughters, Peggy Dawson of Iuka, and Shirley Mink of Greenwood, MS., two sons, Clyde R. Yarber Jr. and Jay Yarber, both of Russellville; two sisters, Mrs Clara Brewer, of Decater, and Flossie Davis of Red Bay, Ala.; two brothers, Henry and Roy Lee Yarber, both of Belmont, two half-brothers, Billy Wayne Yarber of Fayetteville, Ala., and Benny Yarber of Columbus, and a half-sister, Mrs. Glenda Green of Columbus; his step-mother, Ruth Yarber of Columbus. Seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his 1st. wife, Earnestine
Thompson Yarber, (1917~~1957).
