Charles A. Cruitt, lifelong resident of Shelby county, passed away at the Jacksonville hospital on Wednesday, April 9th.
He was the son of Henry A. and Elizabeth Pugh Cruitt, and was born July 21, 1874 in Shelby county. He was married to Betty Corley, who passed away several years ago. He is survived by a sister, Mary, in Lincoln Nebraska and a brother, Albert of Ridge township and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Sunday afternoon from the Lantz-Boetteher chapel with burial in Union cemetery.
