In 1875 he was married to Miss Anabel CUMLEY, daughter of Hiram CUMLEY, of Monroe county. He had a long and successful career as a police officer. He leaves a wife, mother and four boys, Edward WOODS, Arthur WOODS, Ray WOODS, and Harve WOODS. Funeral at C. P. church and interment in Oakwood cemetery with Woodmen taking charge of the services."
