He was born Sept. 7, 1931 in Richmond, VA. Mr. Godsey was a loving and dedicated father, grandfather and bother. He served in the U.S. Army and worked for General Motors in the Cadillac car division and retired in 1976.
Survivors include his girlfriend, Pauline Baker; children Alma Trevaskis, William Pugh, Donald {Annette) Godsey, Joyce (John) Rambur, Donald Hunter, Robert Pugh, Jane Rangel, and Kenneth Pugh; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Ann (floyd) Longest, Joyce (Harris) Reade, Elizabeth Cannady, Gloria Mae Price and Juanita Gillium.
He was preceded in death by his wife Doris Godsey, his twin brother Charles, siblings Raymond "Pee-Wee," Frederick "Skeeter," Howard "Bubba," and Wilton.
