AMOS, ORVILLE JESSE - Funeral services will be conducted in Erie, Kan., for Orville Jesse Amos, 66, a trucking-drayman, who died Aug. 12 in his home, 9925 Aim St., Greenfield. Interment will follow in Erie. A native of St. Paul, Kan., where he was born on July 25, 1888, and the deceased had lived in the Greenfield area only 10 days. He is survived by his widow, Audrey Veneta Amos, Greenfield; three sons, Bernard Amos, Parsons, Kan.; Norman Amos, Kansas City, Mo.; Clifford Amos, Olathe, Kan.; a daughter, Mavine Hines, Bakersfield; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a sister, Eulalia Zimmerman, McCune, Kan.; four brothers, Ernest Amos, Erie, Kan.; Ray Amos, Parsons, Kan.; Cecil Amos, Shreveport, La.; Ralph Amos, Malvern, Ark. Greenlawan Chapel is in charge of local arrangements.
