BUXTON - Catherine Tolson Jennette, 80, of Buxton, died Thursday [April 18, 1991] in an Elizabeth City hospital.
Mrs. Jennette was the daughter of the late Willie and Charlotte Midgett Tolson and the wife of the late Calvin Jennette. She was a homemaker and a member of the Buxton United Methodist Church.
Surviving are one son, Leroy T. Abbott of Wanchese; four sisters: Fannie Williams and Martha Steen both of Buxton, Margaret Hendricks of Chesapeake, Va. and Anges Crankshaw of Lake Placid, Fla.; one brother, Leston Tolson of Virgina Beach; four grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services have been set for Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Buxton United Methodist Church by the Rev. Thomas Sweeley. Burial will follow in the Quidley Cemetery. Twiford Colony Chapel in Manteo is in charge of the arrangements.
