Sophronia was the daughter of James Campbell and Sarah Seat. She first married William Mcdonald and by him had these children who reached adulthood: William W Mcdonald who became a Dr and moved to Ray county MO; Alexander C. Mcdonald who became a Dr and lived in Shelby County, TN; James H McDonald who was a prominent Lawyer in Davidson county, TN; and daughter Elvira McDonald who married Josiah Horr. After her first husband died, Sophronia married Richard Wallace and had several more children.
Sophronia's mother Sarah Seat was daughter to Hartwell Seat of Davidson county. When Sarah Seat married James Campbell they had a large family. When James died, Sarah married second to William W Searcy as his third wife.)
