Services for Wright B. Blanton of Bells, 81 year old retired owner and operator of Blanton Washateria who died Monday at Texoma Medical Center, will be held Wednesday, at Mullican-Little Funeral Home.
The Rev. Jerry Carter of Antioch Baptist Church will officiate and burial will be in Bells North Cemetery.
Mr. Blanton was born in Randolph, a son of Marion T. and Nancy Josephine Mathews Blanton and married Odie Eason on April 8, 1921, in Bonham. He had lived in Bells since 1958 and was a Methodist.
Surviving are his wife; daughter, Mrs. Vickie Dophied of Bells; son Elbert Blanton of Wills Point; sisters Mrs. Ora Lee Murray, and Mrs. Fay Chennault, both of Plainview and Mrs. Gracie Robinson of Odessa; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be nephews. The family will be at the funeral home from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
