Erma B Cook, 79, died Nov 10 at the Augusta Medical Complex.
Born near Wilmot on Nov 8, 1908, she was the daughter of Henry Arthur and Elizabeth Bell Bowen Eastman. In 1929 she was married to Elmer Floyd Cook at Newkirk, Okla , he preceded her in death in 1947.
Mrs Cook had resided in the Winfield area most of her life. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Order of Eastern Star and the Foster Grandparent Program.
Survivors include a son, Lawrence Cook, Craig, Colo; two daughters, Elaine Calvert, Augusta, Norma Corder, El Dorado; two brothers, Leo Eastman and Cecil Eastman, both of Winfield; three sisters, Dorothy Young, Winfield, Hilda Stewart, Wichita, and Ruby Latimer, De Soto, Texas; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10:30 am Saturday at the First Christian Church, with interment in the Wilmot Cemetery. Swisher-Taylor & Morris Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
A memorial has been established with the Long Term Care Center of the Augusta Medical Complex.
