Mr. Moore died Friday, September 7, at the VA Medical Center, following a lengthy illness. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, the American Legion, the Knights of Columbus, the Exchange Club, and Retired Officer's Assoc. He was a veteran of World War II, a member of the Shreveport Auxiliary Police Dept., and was a volunteer for the VA Medical Center for many years.
He is survived by his wife Susie Moore of Shreveport; four sons, Clayton Davis of Shreveport, Reynolds C. Moore III of Newport News, Va., Samuel Moore of Baton Rouge, Christopher Moore of Shreveport; one daughter, Charlotte DeLony of Pleasant Hill; one brother, William H. Moore of Little Rock, Ark.; twelve grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
Pallbearers included Ed Moore, Peter Metoyer, Tommy Allen,
Durwood Lee, Mark Floyd, Larry Alexander.
The family suggest memorials may be made to Holy Rosary Catholic School.
