She died following the birth of her daughter Frances, who died a few months later. She was also the mother of Elizabeth 'Bessie' Millspaugh Strang, who served in the early 1900s as society editor for the Kansas City Star; her burial place is as yet unknown.

Tower in very fragile condition. Inscription on east face is precise and legible (except the "A" in A.W. Millspaugh's name) but many chunks are knocked off all around, nicks and scrapes, and veneer on the south and west faces is peeling off.

Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri

Located in northern third of cemetery. Take entrance road (Cedar Road) to second left/north turn (Maple Road). Turn left/north and follow Maple Road as it curves right/east. About two car lengths from that curve, look right/south to see the Millspaugh tower.
