A janitor and a resident and native of Baton Rouge, he died at 2:05 p.m. Friday, June 27, 2008, at Earl K. Long Medical Center. He was 44. Visiting at Rose Hill Baptist Church on Saturday, July 5, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by Danny M. Donaldson Sr. Interment in Hickory Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Survived by his parents, Mary Lee James Curtis and Eddie Curtis and wife Ida; and two sisters, Kodell Curtis, Jackson, and Chastina Curtis, Ethel. Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents. He attended Jackson High School. Richardson Funeral Home of Clinton is in charge of arrangements.
