Cpl Bowen is in a section marked for unfound bodies. He fought in a forgotten Battle. Dutch Harbor Alaska was invaded by the Japanesse at the same time Midway took place, very little has been recorded on this battle. My Dad was stationed in Dutch Harbor during this time. My dad, SSgt James Albert Jones fought with Cpl Bowen, Sgt Allen and Sgt Dix and they are gone but they are honored and not forgotten.
