Winnie was born in Center, Texas to Pollie Jane Howard Loyd and Velvin P. Loyd. Winnie married Doyle Carvel Kilpatrick July 13, 1932 in Center, Texas. They moved to California in 1942, during WW II. They settled in Fairfield, CA in 1943. Winnie worked at Dick's Restaurant in Fairfield several years before retiring. Winnie lived in Fairfield until her death in 1984, which was caused by a drunk driver. They have two daughters, Alva Doylene Hardin (deceased) and Donna Lee Stockebrand, and they have several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Winnie was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was also a great cook---we miss her fantastic cakes and pies. She loved to quilt and she made most of us quilts before she passed away. Her family always came first. We love her dearly and miss her very much every day. Until we meet again, our dear sweet Mother...
