Ben A. Goertz, 76, of Durham, died Feb. 19, 2004, at Kansas Heart Hospital, Wichita.
Born Jan. 31, 1928, at Hillsboro, he was the son of Henry P. and Selma (Janz) Goertz.
He was the owner of G&R Implement at Durham, and a member of the First Baptist Church.
On Jun 9, 1949, he married Anna Mae Senner at Durham.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Mae; three daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia and Steven Wedel of Abilene, Susan and Joe Endres of Emporia, and Shelley and Myron Klassen of Hesston; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at First Baptist Church, Durham, with Pastor Curtis Wiens officiating.
Burial was in Durham Park Cemetery.
