Anna Margaret Seifert, 102, of Virden, passed away at 3:35 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at Memorial Medical Center.
Margaret was born Feb. 10, 1906, the daughter of Henry and Maria (Leiner) Helmerichs.
She married Roy P. Seifert, June 2, 1929, in Virden; he passed away July 21, 1991.
Margaret was a charter member of the Auburn Trinity Lutheran Church and Ladies Guild.
Margaret is survived by a daughter, Marian L. (Alvin) Glinsmann of Rapid City, S.D.; a son, Russell E. (Helyn) Seifert of Girard; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Roy P. Seifert; a son, Roy P. Seifert Jr.; a grandson, Brian Seifert; three sisters, Frieda Richards, Henreicke Seifert and Wilhelmina Neumann; and a brother, Herman Helmerichs.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2008, at Calvert & Ferry Funeral Home in Virden and one hour prior to funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 31, 2008, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Auburn, with the Rev. Richard Harre officiating.
Burial will be in Virden Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Auburn.
