Graveside service: 10 a.m. Friday in Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation: Mrs. Hampton will be available for viewing noon to 7 p.m. Thursday, with family visitation 5 to 7 p.m. at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Hampton was born in Liberty, Miss., to James and Eloise Callender. She was a resident of Fort Worth for 59 years and retired from Vought Aircraft after 30 years of service. During the latter years of her life, she volunteered her help to those who lived around her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David M. Hampton, and two sons, Paul David Hampton and William John Hughes Jr.
Survivors: Daughters, Evelyn Dhillon, Marilyn Kisner and Jean Ogilvie; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and many other members of the Callender and Hampton families.
