Born in Beechy Fork Creek Community of Trigg County, son of William Henry & Sara E. 'Sadie' (Lancaster) Bridges, husband of Dannie Agnes (Noel) Bridges and Nora Ambie Bridges.

Death Claims M. Vernon Bridges

Mount Vernon Bridges died at Jennie Stuart Hospital in Hopkinsville following an illness of some two weeks when he suffered a heart attack.

Mr. Bridges was the son of Sarh Lancaster and William Henry Bridges, having been born to them March 30, 1891 in Trigg County.

In 1911 he was married to Dannie Noel who preceded him in death a number of years ago. There were four children born of this union, of which the first died in infancy. The three surviving are Lonnie and Lacy Bridges of Trigg Co. And Mrs. Elmo (Myrtle Rhea)Hendricks of Paducah, Ky.

In 1924, Mr. Bridges was married to Miss Ambie Bridges who survives him. Three children were born of this union: Cecil and Glenda of Trigg Co. And Mrs. Howard (Sadie) Wyatt of Lyon Co. Other survivors are 13 grandchildren, one brother, Willie Bridges, and one sister, Pearl Allen both of Trigg Co.
Funeral services were conducted Tues.from the Goodwin Funeral Home with the Rev. Rudolph Noel officiating. Burial was made in the Allen cemetery near Maple Grove.
