Unity - Asher Douglass died suddenly on Tuesday evening at his home. He had been in failing health for some time. He was born in Unity, January 27, 1879, the son of the late Asa and Harriett (Hustus) Douglass.
He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Cora E. Douglass and Mrs. Susie E. Phillips of Unity; three brothers, Burton of Waldo, Lindley M. and Elisha of Unity.
Funeral services will be held Friday. The body will be placed in the tomb at Freedom
