Mr. Drane was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia and lived in East Liverpool for about 35 years. He was formerly employed by the American Sheet & Tin Plate Company, but has been janitor of the Central school for about three years.
He is survived by four sons, William, Harry, Paul and Lawrence Drane of East Liverpool; six daughters, Mrs. Mary Niswonger, and Hazel, Virginia Eleanor, Helen, and Charmaine Drane, all of East Liverpool; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Bolles of East Liverpool and Mrs. Charles Hannon and Mrs. Maud Miller of Parkersburg, West Virginia; and two grandchildren.

I see that Harry's mother is listed as Elizabeth Hayes. This is incorrect. I gather it was copied from great-granddad's death certificate which is attached. My aunt Virginia was the person who filled out the death certificate. She had never met her father's parents (family rift) so she likely guessed, or got confused about her grandmother's maiden name. Harry's mother was Mary Elizabeth Anderson (1840 - 1921). I have her 1859 marriage record to Robert Drane.
