Cepeda Sr., 22, San Antonio; assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve; attached to 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward), San Antonio; killed May 7 by enemy action while conducting combat operations in Anbar province, Iraq. He is survived by his wife of five years, Ella M. Cepeda, his son, Aaron 'AJ' Nathaniel Cepeda Jr, his daughter, Journee Bre-Kayleen Cepeda, his parents, Michael and Diana Cepeda, his maternal grandmother, Grace Mata, half sister Delores Medina and husband Henry, half brother, Michael S. Cepeda, Jr, and wife Jeanette, a goddaughter, Amberly Mendiola,and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and other family members.
