Lincoln, Dec. 5. - Phillip Leonard Aery, 62, died at 1:45 a.m., Dec. 5, 1935, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles D. Armstrong, 113 Sixth street. He had been ill two years.

He was born June 2, 1873 in Middletown, and was married to Gertrude Gibbs on April 15, 1895 [sic] who preceded him in death.

Six children survive: Mrs. Armstrong, Mrs. C.A. Wheeler, Kenneth, Forrest, Harold and Constance Aery, of Lincoln. Two brothers, William Aery of near Lincoln, and Abe Aery of Quaker, Mo. also survive.

The funeral was held at the Cumberland Presbyterian church.

Burial was in Irish Grove cemetery.
