He was director emeritus, Boys and Girls Club of Columbus and a member of the Press Club of Ohio for 30 years as a cast member in the Gridiron Show; Agonis Club; Old North High Club, class of 1938, OSU Alumni Association Class of 1942; Association of the U.S. Army; Reserve Officers Association of the U.S.; the Retired Officers Association and the American Legion, Veterans of WW-II.
