PRESCOTT--Services for Bartlett Jones, 67, a retired Veterans Administration employee and farmer-rancher, will be at 2pm Tuesday in Memory Chapel, 131 Grove Ave. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Mr Jones died Thursday in Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix. He was born in Vienna, VA, and came to Kirkland 50 years ago and here 10 years ago. He worked for 30 years at the VA Hospital here. He ranched and farmed at Big Chino and Walnut Grove.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie; a son, Stuart of Flagstaff; a daughter, Mrs Beth Alger of Prescott; two brothers and two sisters out of state, and nine grandchildren.
The family suggests contributions to the Arizona TB and Respiratory Disease Association.
