Age 80, of Rt. 98 South, Franklinville, NY died Jan. 12, 2008, at the Riverwood Health Care Center in Grand Island. He was born Oct. 8, 1927 in Middlebury, NY, son of the late John and Anna Gowan Wolcott. He served in the US Army Air Force from 1946-49. Mr. Wolcott was employed for 33 years as a laboratory technician for Buffalo Crushed Stone in Franklinville until his retirement in 1989. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. Surviving are two sons, Jesse (Susan) Wolcott of Grand Island, Jeremy (Kim) Wolcott of Grand Island; one daughter, Julie Wolcott of Franklinville, 5 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Friends called Wednesday from 2-4 pm at Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where a service was held immediately following calling hours at 4 pm.
