Lila Maxine Webb, 90, of Farmington passed away Sunday, June 29, 2008, in Canton, Ill.
She was born Dec. 29, 1917, in Morton, Ill., to Paul and Edith Miller Reeb. She married Roland L. Webb on Jan. 11, 1958, in Springfield, Ill. He passed away on April 22, 1978, in Pekin, Ill.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Shirley Bridgewater; her parents; and four sisters.
Surviving are one granddaughter, Sandra Denton of Delavan, Ill.; one great-granddaughter, Amber Denton of Pekin, Ill.; two half sisters, Millie Stanley of Sun Rise Beach, Texas, and Jean Ann May of Flint, Texas; and one half brother, Allan Reeb of Porta La Vaca, Texas. Lila is also survived by one son-in-law, Ray Bridgewater of Princeville, Ill.; as well as three grandsons, Michael Bridgewater of Kingston Mines, Ill., Tim Bridgewater of Canton, Ill., and Mark Bridgewater of Princeville, Ill.
Lila was a nurse, working at several area nursing homes for many years prior to her retirement.
She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 44 in Pekin and the Order of Eastern Star in Pekin.
Burial will be in Maple Ridge Cemetery in Mapleton, Ill.
