On Sunday evening, June 6, 2008, MILDRED EILEEN DAVIS DUFFY, 82, of St. Petersburg, Fla., went to be with the Lord. She was born on May 6, 1926, in Chester, W.Va., a daughter of the late Charles N. and Bessie Edwards. She had lived in Florida since 1983, moving there from East Liverpool. She retired after 17 years of service for the National Brotherhood of Operative Potters, where she was executive secretary for the president from 1965 to 1983. A member of the East Liverpool Class of 1944, Eileen will always be remembered for her kindness to others, her witty sense of humor, her devotion to family and friends, and especially for her commitment to Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death Feb. 7, 1982 by her first husband, C. Willard Davis, whom she married March 11, 1949.
