Obituary: ANNA B. WEBER, 1920-2000. Anna Belle (Sharp) Weber, 80, Wathena, died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2000, at a health-care center in Wathena.
Mrs. Weber, a homemaker, also worked for the Apple Grower's Association in Wathena and for the former Whitaker Cable Corp. of St. Joseph.
Born in Troy, Kan., on April 26, 1920, she was a lifelong resident of Wathena.
On Sept. 25, 1942, she married Edward Weber in Wathena. He died in 1998.
Mrs. Weber also was preceded in death by her parents, Scott and Caroline Sharp; and two brothers, Lawrence and Robert Sharp.
Surviving: two daughters, Patrica A. Wiedmer, Troy, and Janet K. Israel, Wathena; a sister, Virginia Kline, Troy; a brother, Clarence Sharp, Wathena; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a step-great-grandchild.
Graveside service and burial: 1:30 P.M. Friday, Mount Olive Cemetery, Troy. Family visitation: 7 to 8:30 tonight, at the Harman-Rohde Funeral Home, Wathena. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.(Src: The St. Joseph News-Press, St. Joseph, Mo., October 5, 2000.)
