Obituary: EDWARD L. WEBER, 1923-1998. Edward Lee Weber, 75, Wathena, died Monday, Oct. 19, 1998, at a St. Joseph hospital.
Mr Weber, a lifelong resident of Wathena, retired from Graham Elevator in St. Joseph in 1983. He was born in Wathena on May 9, 1923.
On Sept. 25, 1942, he married Anna Belle Sharp in Wathena. She survives of the home.
Mr. Weber was preceded in death by his parents Walter E. and Nora I., and two sisters, Pearl and Mary Rotterman.
Additional survivors: two daughters, Patricia A. Wiedmer, Troy, Kan., and Janet K. Israel, Wathena; three sisters, Esther Engemann, Troy, Betty Sigrist, Wathena, and Virginia Welch, St. Joseph; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside service and burial: 1:30 P.M. Wednesday, Mount Olive Cemetery, Troy. Family visitation: 7 to 8:30 tonight at the Harman-Rohde Funeral Home, Wathena.(Src: The St. Joseph News-Press, October 20, 1998.)
