Resolution from the City of Pilot Point:
Whereas, God in His wisdom has seen fit on May 17, 1964, to remove from our midst our esteemed friend and member, Claud Sitzes, and
Whereas, there is an unfilled place in our Pilot Point Chamber of Commerce because of the passing of our beloved friend and member who always had the best interest of our community at heart, and
Whereas, Claud Sitzes was loved and respected by the citizens of Pilot Point for his kindness and charity toward others, being never too busy to lend a helping hand to those in need and to the Chamber of Commerce and all civic matters and will always live in the hearts of those who knew him as an exemplifcation of all the high ideals of dedicated service to the community he truly loved.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Directors of the Pilot Point Chamber of Commerce in regular meeting assembled this 20th day of May, 1964, that Pilot Point has lost an everlasting friend, a man of sterling worth and character; that we mourn his death and departure; that our deepest sympathy be extended to the famly and that a copy of this resolution be spread upon the minutes and a copy be furnished the family.
