Mrs. Alice Baker, wife of William Baker, of Fair Oaks, formerly of Bloomingburg, died at her home shortly before noon Tuesday following a second stroke of paralysis Tuesday morning. Mrs. Baker was sixty-five years old.
She was born in South Centerville on September twenty-eighth, 1863, a daughter of Albert Brundage and Jane Tears. Mr. Baker is the only living relative. Miss Ethel Kniffin formerly of Middletown is a niece.
Private funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 at the home of the Rev. H. D. Chace of Bloomingburg officiating. Burial will be in Bloomingburg cemetery.
