Born in Grahamsville, Jan. 15, 1880, she was a daughter of Oscar C. and Hannah Irwin Baker. She was married to Byron Schoonmaker, who is dead. She lived in Goshen 20 years.
Mrs. Schoonmaker was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Goshen.
She is survived by two sons, Roland of Montgomery and Kenneth of Waldwick, N.J.; and two daughters, Mrs. Harold Tice of Goshen, and Mrs. Clarkson L. Cortright of Fair Oaks; 12 grand-children and 22 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 Tuesday at the Donovan Funeral Home in Goshen. Burial will be at Bloomingburg Rural Cemetery.
