Mary M. Double, 92, of Mitchell Road went to be with her Lord the afternoon of July 9, 2008.

Parents: George G. and Carrie Macom Double.

She worked for Johnson Bronze as a bearing filer for 36 years, retiring in 1978. She was a Harlansburg High School graduate. She enjoyed reading the Bible, crocheting, embroidery and sewing. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Relatives: a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara A. and Kenneth Wagner of New Castle; three grandchildren, Lynn Wagner Pittman of Indianapolis, Sharon (Wagner) and Larry Veech of Louisville, Ky., and Kenneth Jr. and Donna (Thomas) Wagner of Mayport, Pa.; three great-grandchildren, Carrie Pittman and her fiancé, Ricky Newhart, of Indianapolis, Kimberly (Pittman) and Daniel Layton of Indianapolis, and Laura Veech Clay and Chris Clay of Louisville; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Genevieve Kwiat; and two brothers, Kenneth Double and Gaylord Double.
