Leonard Benjamin "Bill" Chumley Sr., 68, of 1130 Haynes St. died June 19, 1997.
A Native of Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Hoyt C. and Maggie S. Casey Chumley. He was retired from Clarkson Bros. and was a member of Arcadia First Baptist Church. He was a member of the Arcadia Masonic Lodge and the Hejaz Temple.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Fowler Chumley; a daughter, Geri C. Brown of Roebuck; a son, Leonard B. Chumley Jr. of Spartanburg; two sisters, Mary West of Campobello and Kathleen Sinclair of Clinton; and four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 tonight at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral chapel, conducted by the Rev. Everett Foster. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
The family is at the home.
