Niles Andrew Chumley,
Niles Andrew Chumley 76, of 510 Quatermaster Road, Spartanburg, and the husband of Anna Brown Chumley, died Feb. 23 1995 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Born in Laurens county, he was a son of the late Hoy Critner and Maggie Susan Casey Chumley.
He was retired from Spartan Mill after 43 years of service. He was a member of Arcadia Baptist Church; a member of VFW Post No. 9539, Spartanburg; and a veteran of the U.S. Army in World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Anna Brown Chumley of the home; a son, Niles Andrew Chumley Jr. of Rock Hill; a daughter, Susan Chumley Cox of Spartanburg; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Leonard Chumley of Spartanburg; and two sisters, Mary West of Campobello and Kathleen Sinclair of Clinton.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today (Friday) at Floyd's Greenlawn chapel.
