Mary & Robert are twins, with a DOB of 29 June 1840 (as confirmed by Robert's military records). However, a DOB of "29 June 1847" is engraved upon her headstone. Robert is confirmed as her twin per the same ages listed in every census they are shown on together (at least the 1850 & 1860 federal censuses & the 1856 Iowa census)...
