GRANT -- Graveside services for Nancy H. Carpenter Baker, 67, Coffeyville, Kan., formerly of Hugo, will be at 2 p.m. today, Dec. 28, 2005, at Grant Cemetery with the Rev. Kay Buchanan officiating.
Born on April 7, 1938, in Hugo, to Sidney Wayne and Edith Virginia Slaton Carpenter, she passed away on Saturday, Dec. 24, 2005, in Tulsa. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She graduated from Hugo High School in 1956, from Oklahoma University with her degree in pharmacy in 1961, and lived in this community for 22 years before moving to Ardmore where she was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was also a member of Eastern Star, Rainbows and Beta Sigma Phi.

She will truly be missed.

Survivors include two sons, Marcus W. Baker, South Coffeyville, Okla., and Michael G. Baker, Ada; a daughter, Sidna V. Chambers, Oklahoma City; her grandchildren, Benton and Claire Baker, South Coffeyville, Morgan, Matison, and Mason Williams and Makensey Chambers, Oklahoma City.
