Regina M. Hoheisel was born on November 7, 1905 in Bancroft, IA the daughter of the late William and Kathrine Naber Bahns. The family came to the Pierz area when Regina was a young child. She married Leonard P. Hoheisel on July 2, 1929 in St. Joseph's Church in Pierz. The couple farmed 3 1/2 miles SE of Pierz until 1962. Regina moved to Pierz in 1962 and has lived there until her death. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz and the Pierz Christian Mothers. She enjoyed traveling with her family, fishing and gardening in her backyard.
Survivors include sons, Roderick Hoheisel of Little Falls, Clifford Hoheisel of Babbit, MN; daughters, Mrs. William "Adeline" Gunther of Pierz, MN, Mrs. Raymond "Mary" Lucking of Pierz, MN, Mrs. Donald "Yvonne" Pick of West Fargo, ND, Mrs. Roger "Shirley" Posterick of Blaine, MN, Mrs. Gerald "Cornelia Jean" Billmeyer of Sierra Vistz, AZ; sisters, Ros Sczublewski of Toledo, OH, Alvina Sarp of Minneapolis, MN, Angeline Carlson of Little Falls, MN; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Leonard Hoheisel of January 14, 1962, sister, Helen Cable and brother, John Bahns.
