She was born to Cleofas and Virginia Aguirre Dec. 27, 1966, in Falls City.

Barbara graduated from Falls City High School and then moved to San Antonio where she was employed with the Metropolitan Methodist Hospital for several years. She was a member of St. Cornelius Catholic Church and a member of the Guadalupana Society.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Ray Jaramillo; her sister-in-law, Geneveve A. Jaramillo; and her brother-in-law, Leroy Benavides.

Barbara is survived by her son, Vicente Cleofas Aguirre of Karnes City; sisters Teri Benavides of Karnes City, Patricia Hernandez and husband Polo of Milwaukee, and Sally Vera and husband Frank of Kenedy; brothers Alcario Jaramillo of Utah, Manuel Jaramillo and wife Mary Lou of Falls City, and Eloy Jaramillo and wife Cecilia of Karnes City; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers were Patrick Cervantez, Roger Garcia, Juan Benavides, Paul Jaramillo, Carlos Castellano, and Kelly Hons.
