Theron Moore was the son of Rev. War soldier, Joseph Moore and Hannah Miller. He himself was a soldier in the War of 1812. He lived for a time in Plattsburg, NY, but in 1816 moved to OH, locating with his family in Avon Twp., Lorain, then a wilderness. He married Keziah Aldrich. His children were Lucetta, Theron and Stephen. He married Clarissa Briggs Gray , 9 Aug 1819 in Huron Co., OH. They divorced 22 Nov 1827 in Lorain Co., OH. Their children were Asa W., Henry, and George. He married Mary Irish. Their children were Laura, Fannie,Smith and Kesiah. He married Louise McNeil. They were married 10 Feb 1835 in Lorain Co., OH. Their children were John Wellington, Myron, Abigail and Annetta. They divorced. After farming in Avon, he again moved to the state of WI where he passed the remainder of his life.

Text: DIED-At the residence of his son-in-law, A R. Case Esq. in Baraboo, Feb 10th, Theron Moore, in his 78th years.
