MRS, NUGENT DIES FEB. 2
Mrs. Pinkie Ann Nugent, 98 died at 3 a.m., Saturday, Feb., 2 in Wilshire Manor Nursing Home. She was the widow of Ed Nugent and was a former resident of Pollock.

She is survived by three sons, Herman Nugent and Houston Nugent, both of Pollock; and Dick Nugent of Deville; four daughters, Mrs. Louella Thompson of Jena, Mrs. Frances McGurk of Pollock, Mrs. Russell Jameson of Deville and Mrs. Lillie Scherone of California; 22 grandchildren, 94 great-grandchildren and 62 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 3 in Holloway Baptist Church with Revs. Willard Johnson, Dayle Nugent and Levi Hickman officiating. Burial was in Hickory Grove cemetery under direction of Hixson Bros., Pineville.

Pallbearers were Herschel Nugent, Donald Nugent, Clifford Nugent, Roy Jameson, Cecil Thompson and Odis Thompson."
