HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Mr. Terry Basinger of Hephzibah died on Sunday, July 13, 2008. He was 62 years old. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 14, 2008 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at The Poteet Funeral Homes, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta. The memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Mr. Basinger will be cremated and on Saturday, July 19, 2008 the family invites their friends to join them for a Wake at their home, 4321 Forest Road in Hephzibah. Survivors are his wife, Gale Basinger; his son, Travis Basinger, of North Augusta; his daughter, Melissa Basinger, of Hephzibah; a brother. He is also survived by a large and loving family of friends throughout the country. Mr. Basinger was veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a 32 Degree Mason and a member of the Shrine Club.
