She married her beloved Richard Earl Benefiel May 15, 1945 in Miami Beach. They were the parents Sharon Lee (Robert) Palmer, Richard E. Benefiel, Jr. & David F. (Beth) Benefiel. Grandparents of Robbie, Ricki & Jon Palmer, Lori Ann Benefiel, Dawn Marie & Michelle Benefiel.
She became a widow too young and never got over her grief.
She suffered with cancer for three years before her death, but she did live long enough to see all her grandchildren.
