He served in the Navy during World War II. When he returned he was married to Vierlyn L. Martin.
He moved to Ontario in 1971 and remained here until October 1993 when he moved to Moses Lake to be near family.
He is survived by his children: Jay, Judy and Orma; his twin brother, Marvin and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, a son and a granddaughter.
