-----
I met Mr. Gaines when about 12 yr. old. I had a super crush on him!! Naturally, he didn't have any idea, or that I thought he looked like Kenny Rogers.

He was a friend of family, and 3 of uncle's worked for him under Gaines Electric.

He owned several apartment buildings in Crete, that one of my uncles lived in, and Mom rented at one time, also.

My Uncle Lloyd worked for Mr. Gaines, until he moved back to Tenn. Mr. Gaines visited Uncle Lloyd, in 1985- I was living in Fl. then, I made the trip to Tenn also. I was 32yr. old- I confessed to Mr. Gaines, how I had much a crush. We both got a get kick out of it.

He was a very nice man.

Although his obits states he died in IN- that is just the hospital - he lived in Crete, as far back as I can remember.
