She was the first female street officer in Omaha and loved her cats. After retiring from OPD, she volunteered at the Humane Society. She was active in her church, First Lutheran and had previously worked for F.A. Wellman & Sons from 1969-1977. She was preceded in death by her father, Owen; grandparents. Survived by mother, Nelva; siblings and their spouses, Jeanette and Larry Heins, David City, NE, Joyce and Tom Jelinek, Brainard, NE, John and Janice Beethe, Burr, NE, Kathy and Dale Rempe, Lincoln, NE, Susan and Dave Fisher, Bradshaw, NE, Linda and Tim Schulze, Hordville, NE, Dale and Kayla Beethe, Ord, NE; numerous other relatives.
