Eleanor Jenson Williams passed away on July 14, 2008 at the Highland Care Center in Holladay, Utah, surrounded by loving family and friends. She resided at 1876 East Kensington Avenue (1550 South) in the Foothill area of Salt Lake City, Utah at the time of her death.

Born November 3, 1912 in Bear River City, Utah to Alfred Christian and Elvina Anderson Jenson. Married to her love, Byron Larkin Williams on June 14, 1941.

This amazing lady was proud native of Bear River where she enjoyed the event filled childhood of a farm girl. Eleanor graduated from Bear River High School a year early, then moved on to Utah State University graduating with a Bachelor's degree. She continued her education at University of California, Berkeley with a Master's degree in Social Work.

The lives of many people were touched through Eleanor's work as a social worker; as well as a middle school teacher in English and Drama at Irving and Bryant. She was an inspiration to her family, friends, and neighbors. Her sharp mind, quick wit, and a will of steel are qualities we will all miss.

Eleanor was devoted to her family. She loved reading and belonged to the Daria Book Club. Taking pleasure in gardening, entertaining, traveling, and other social activities (including Wendover) had the rest of us trying to keep up. She was able to live home until she was 95 and enjoyed the warm support of her exceptional neighbors over the years.

Proceeded in death by husband, parents, three sisters, and one brother. Survived by brother Calvin Jenson (Shirley), her daughter Joyce (Carl T. Woolsey Jr.), son Byron Larkin Jr. (Jane). Grandchildren Samantha Woolsey (Jonathan Ball), Marianne (O. Wood Moyle IV), Byron L. Williams III (Sabrina), Eleanor Constance (Connie) Woolsey, Tina ( Millard Bulanon), Jenson (Dustin Smith).
