Sarah C. Litsey, the daughter of James H. Litsey and Amanda Spurrier of Grayson County, Kentucky, was born October 16, 1869. She was the wife of Charles S. Shartzer, the son of James Shartzer and Mary Craig of Grayson County, Kentucky. He was born March 27, 1865. She preceded him in death on January 3, 1948 and was buried in the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Leitchfield, Grayson County, Kentucky. Charles followed her in death at the age of 85 on June 12, 1950 in Grayson County, Kentucky. They share the same stone in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
