Ryan James Williams aka "Batman" gained his angel wings on Wednesday evening, July 9, 2008. Ryan was born September 30, 2002 in Humble, Texas to parents C. D. and Theresa Skarpa Williams. He had attended the First Baptist Church Weekday Ministries and had played T-Ball with the DYSA. He was a member of the Sunshine Kids, Royal Rangers, and an honorary member of the Dayton Volunteer Fire Department. Ryan loved Batman and other Super Heroes, he would very often be seen as one of these special characters. He enjoyed playing Wii, Legos, and going swimming, but he most of all loved to wrestle with his Dad and kiss his Mom.

Visitation for Ryan will 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, July 11, 2008 at Dayton First Assembly of God Church. A Celebration of Ryan's Life Service will be 7:00 p.m., Friday at the First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Charles Pierce officiating. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 12, 2008 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Thuc Nguyen officiating. Interment to follow at Magnolia Park Cemetery under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home.

Ryan is survived by his mother: Theresa Skarpa Williams who was his true love; his father: C. D. Williams who was his partner forever; his sister: Haley Williams who he was her best brother, of Dayton; his grandparents: Felix and Marie Skarpa of Dayton, Cecil D. Williams, Sr. of Dayton; his great-grandmothers: Pauline Dybala of Needville and Betty Ann Peace of New Boston; also numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
